Statue of St. Sebastian in the neighborhood of Gloria, south of Rio
In the middle of Russell Square, showing the importance of this place, which was the scene of the battle that resulted in the expulsion of French from Rio de Janeiro on January 20, 1567, in which Estacio de Sa was injured, there is the Monument to Saint Sebastian, patron of the City of Sao Sebastiao do Rio de Janeiro.
