Cow Parade

Cow Parade is an international public art exhibit that has been featured in major world cities. Fiberglass sculptures of cows are decorated by local artists, and distributed over the city centre, in public places such as train stations, important avenues, and parks. They often feature artwork and designs specific to local culture, as well as city life and other relevant themes. After the exhibition in the city, which lasts many months, the cows are auctioned off and the proceeds donated to charity.

  1. This is so fascinating, Roberto! Here in Ocala, Florida, we have "Horse Fever," which started some years back. There are now about 80 painted horses places in various places in the community. Small replicas are featured in stores and people collect them. I've posted a number on our Ocala Daily Photo blog, the most recent a few days ago.

  2. This one looks a little fierce Roberto, what a great idea though and hopefully one that will raise a lot of money for charity.
