Apricot-Monkey

The Aterro do Flamengo is one of the most important areas of entertainment and tourist attractions of the city. It has high speed ways responsible for the good order of the traffic of transportation among Downtown and South Zone of Rio.  Also found in Flamengo many flowers as the apricot-monkey (scientific name Aubl Couroupita guianensis., Lecythidaceae), also known by common names monkey-nuts, bowl-a-monkey-ball cannon, macacarecuia, almond of the Andes and Cuito-Bravois a species of tree from the Amazon that has round fruits that hang in clusters and blooming flowers, widely used in landscaping and urbanfarms. It has an average height between 8 and 15 metersberry fruit typelarge and round,and its flowersvery fragrantcome directly out of the trunk.
